Todos sobre el Samsung Galaxy Tab

Archive for September, 2011

Samsung GALAXY Tab 8.9 Review

Posted by PhoneArena September - 30 - 2011 - Friday ADD COMMENTS
PhoneArena reviews the Samsung GALAXY Tab 8.9. Samsung quickly established themselves with the original 7-inch Samsung GALAXY Tab. Early in the year, they introduced the Samsung GALAXY Tab 10.1, which then received a huge overhaul recently with its design so that they wouldn't be outdone by another rival. However, things don't end there as they're able to fill in the gap between the two models with the Samsung GALAXY Tab 8.9. Employing the same design characteristics and hardware under the hood, it's going to be intriguing to see how this $469 priced tablet will be able to secure its own identity… For more details, check out our web site: www.phonearena.com

It includes the Samsung TouchWiz UI upgrade, which enables applications from the Android Market — a key feature lacking on other Android tablets — as well as Samsung's Apps store. The device has a TFT capacitive screen, an A8 ARM 1 GHz Cortex processor, a PowerVR SGX540 graphic accelerator and 16 GB of internal memory, with additional microSD card slot. It supports all 3G bands and has the HSDPA network connectivity option, along with Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS and Bluetooth 3.0 support. At first glance, the Galaxy Tab is most similar to Apple's iPad, but compared to it, the Galaxy Tab has certain advantages, as well as shortcomings. At .84 pounds, it weighs nearly half as much as the iPad, which tips the scales at 1.5 pounds, the Galaxy Tab has voice call capability (though, the feature is disabled on the US Galaxy Tab) and video conferencing over Wi-Fi. This tablet also includes multitasking (a feature coming to the iPad with the iOS 4.2 update in November), and web browsing with Flash support. On the other hand, the Apple iPad has a bigger, more pleasing screen, solid aluminum body, and a hardy battery The story of the Galaxy Tab has been quite a saga, to say the least. In fact, it was …

nuevo Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 (16GB) Review

Posted by besttabletreviews September - 30 - 2011 - Friday ADD COMMENTS
Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 (16GB) The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 is everything we loved about the Tab 10.1 in a slightly smaller form, with a slightly smaller price. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 Just like computers and mobile phones, tablets are not a one-size-fits-all technology. Sure, Apple is selling plenty of iPads, but many people are looking for something a little more compact. If you want an Android tablet that's a little easier to wrap your hands around, but not so small that it feels like an oversized smartphone, Samsung's Galaxy Tab 8.9 might be the perfect fit. The tablet is available starting October 2, priced at $469 (16GB) and $569 (32GB). Size matters The Galaxy Tab 8.9 looks just like a Galaxy Tab 10.1 that got left in the dryer too long. Aside from the dimensions being slightly smaller, it's indistinguishable from the Tab 10.1. But don't be too quick to dismiss the advantages of a smaller size. At 8.9 inches, this tablet still escapes the awkward in-between nature of 7-inch tablets (including the original Tab). It's large enough to make Web pages and documents appear life-size. Most importantly, Google's Android 3.2 Honeycomb software and its more spacious user interface have enough room to live happily. So why not pay the extra $30 for a Tab 10.1 with a larger screen? Well, that decision comes down to what matters to you. We can say for certain that the Tab 8.9 is slightly lighter, and the dimensions less unwieldy. It's easier to grip with one hand for an extended …
